Haryana pays a tractor subsidy to one group only: Scheduled Caste (SC) farmers. The 2025-26 scheme gave up to ₹3,00,000 per unit on a tractor of 45 HP or more, applied for online on agriharyana.gov.in. Farmers outside the SC category have no general tractor subsidy in the Haryana notices found. For them the state's money goes to implements, mainly crop residue machines, and to a newly announced electric tractor subsidy.

The scheme details below come from news reports of the department's notice, not from the notice itself. Check the current notice on agriharyana.gov.in before applying. The national picture is on the tractor subsidy overview.

How selection works

Applications were open online until 15 January 2026. When applications exceed the slots, an online lottery is run by the District Level Executive Committee headed by the Deputy Commissioner. The reports do not give the number of tractors per district or any token money for this scheme.

Steps on agriharyana.gov.in

  1. Register on Meri Fasal Mera Byora and make sure the land and Family ID details are correct.
  2. Open agriharyana.gov.in and apply in the tractor subsidy window while it is open. Applications are online only.
  3. Wait for the district draw.
  4. If selected, buy the tractor. Guides on Haryana machinery schemes say to buy from an empanelled dealer only. Check this on your selection letter.
  5. Physical verification of the tractor is done by the department.
  6. The subsidy is paid by direct bank transfer into the bank account registered on MFMB.

Menu labels on the portal are not given in the reports, so follow the screen.

Documents

For the tractor scheme the reports name MFMB registration, SC status, land ownership or PPP details and a declaration of no tractor subsidy in five years. For implements, the reports list PPP number or Aadhaar, photo ID, PAN card, bank passbook, the tractor's RC, a caste certificate for SC applicants and a self-declaration. A tractor RC is needed because the machines run on a tractor.

Implements: rules and last window

  • Applicants cannot have taken a subsidy on the same machine in the past three years, and the limit is one machine per farmer.
  • Selection is by online lottery if applications exceed slots.
  • The 2026-27 window was reported open up to 15 June 2026 in one newspaper and up to 3 August 2026 in a guide. The bill and GPS upload deadline was 7 September 2026.
  • An older 2021 report mentions a token deposit of ₹2,500 to ₹5,000 paid online. The current token amount is not in the reports found.

Dates and contact

The last tractor window closed on 15 January 2026. No date for the next window is published in the reports found. A 2026-27 notice for tractors was not found. For help, a guide lists the department helpline 0172-2571553, and a 2021 report gives the toll-free number 1800-180-1551. Both are secondary sources, so confirm them on agriharyana.gov.in or at the District Agriculture Office. The Ambala report quotes the Assistant Agricultural Engineer as the officer for the scheme.
