Madhya Pradesh's e-Krishi Yantra Anudan portal does not currently offer a subsidy on the tractor itself. Every round reviewed, from December 2024 to the window open until 6 October 2026, covers implements such as balers, seeders, mulchers, rotocultivators and reaper cum binders. The route to a tractor subsidy runs through the Horticulture Department: news reports of August 2026 describe a mini tractor up to 20 PTO HP at 50% (up to ₹2.45 lakh) for SC, ST, small and marginal farmers and 40% (up to ₹1.96 lakh) for others. A February 2026 report gives different figures, so check the figure on the department's notice.

Which scheme does what
- e-Krishi Yantra Anudan: run by the Directorate of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal, under the Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department, on farmer.mpdage.mp.gov.in. The scheme has operated since 2017-18. Implements only, chosen round by round.
- Horticulture Department (MPFSTS, mpfsts.mp.gov.in/mphd): mini tractor and power tiller under the horticulture mission, with its own registration and a lottery or merit selection.
- Some dealer sites quote "40 to 50% on a tractor, up to ₹1,00,000, once in seven years" for the state. No department notice reviewed lists this.

The rate depends on the machine and is fixed in each notice. No round lists a tractor.

The three rows disagree, and the department's own order for the current year is not published on the pages reviewed. Treat the August 2026 row as the latest report and confirm it with the district horticulture office before buying.

These are national maximums, and a state funds only the machines it lists. Revised SMAM guidelines of December 2025 may differ, so the table is a ceiling and not a promise.
Eligibility and documents
- Land in the applicant's own name is mandatory.
- Documents: Agri-Stack Farmer ID, Aadhaar copy, first page of the bank passbook, land record (B-1), caste certificate for SC and ST, tractor RC for tractor-mounted equipment, and a scan of the demand draft.
- The draft is a security amount that depends on the machine, payable to the Assistant Agricultural Engineer of the district. An online payment gateway is also accepted.
How to apply and selection
- New farmers register at an MP Online kiosk or CSC with biometric Aadhaar authentication. Registered farmers log in with an Aadhaar OTP.
- On the portal home page choose Krishi Yantra (Directorate of Agricultural Engineering).
- Enter personal, land and farm details, pick the machine and upload the documents and draft.
- A lottery is held after the closing date and selected farmers get an SMS.
- Only selected farmers buy, from a manufacturer or dealer shown on the portal, and the subsidy goes to the bank account by DBT.
The notices reviewed do not state the purchase window, bill upload or verification steps. Status is under the portal's application status page. For horticulture, reports name registration at mpfsts.mp.gov.in/mphd/new, then a choice of scheme and equipment.
Dates and contact
The open e-Krishi Yantra round closes on 6 October 2026 with a lottery on 7 October, and it has no tractor. Horticulture dates are not published in the reports. No state helpline is published. Contact the Directorate of Agricultural Engineering in Bhopal or the district Assistant Agricultural Engineer (the Umaria office, for example, was given as 07653-268225 in a January 2026 notice).
