You can ask us to delete your Farmer.in account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, what is deleted, and what we may keep, in line with our Privacy Policy and the requirements of the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

How to Request Deletion

  • In the app: go to your Profile, then choose "Delete account" and confirm.
  • By email: write to [email protected] from the email or with the mobile number linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my account and data". We may verify your identity before acting on the request.

What Gets Deleted

On a verified request, we delete or anonymise the personal data linked to your account, including your membership profile (name, village, district, state, crops, land and income details, profile photo and email) and your enquiry/lead details, and we remove your account.

What May Be Retained

We may retain limited information where the law requires it, to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce our terms - for example basic transaction or compliance records. Such data is kept only as long as necessary and is then deleted. Aggregated or anonymised data that no longer identifies you may be retained.

Timeline

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Backups are purged on our regular backup cycle.
