  • Certified vs. Truthfully Labelled (TL) seed: Always buy certified seed (Foundation/Registered) from authorized dealers for guaranteed purity and germination
  • Hybrid vs. Open Pollinated Variety (OPV): Hybrids give 20-40% higher yield but seeds can't be saved. OPV seeds can be saved and replanted.
