How to raise a healthy paddy nursery (dhan ki nursery)?

Raise a wet-bed nursery using 25 to 30 kg seed per hectare of transplanted area, enough for about 1000 square metres of nursery to plant one hectare. Treat seed with carbendazim at 2 g per kg or soak in salt water to remove unfilled grains, then sprout for 24 to 36 hours. Prepare raised beds 1 to 1.25 m wide with channels for drainage, apply well rotted FYM and a basal dose of around 20 g DAP per square metre. Keep beds moist, not flooded, for the first 5 days. Apply zinc sulphate if leaves yellow. Seedlings are ready for transplanting at 25 to 30 days for medium varieties.
