The PM-KISAN helpline number that appears on an official page (PIB) is 155261, a 24x7 IVRS line that PIB describes for checking beneficiary status. To file a complaint, use Helpdesk - Query Form under Farmers Corner on pmkisan.gov.in, which sends it to the concerned state nodal officer, or approach the block or district nodal officer in person.
Other phone numbers and email addresses circulate online. They could not be confirmed on an official page, so none is listed here. Check the Contact Us page of pmkisan.gov.in, which links the Help-Desk and the state nodal officer contacts. The latest installment is the 23rd, released 20 June 2026; no later one is announced, so the helpline cannot tell you a date either.

Start at the lowest level that can fix the problem. A land or e-KYC issue is usually solved at the block office faster than by phone.
Before you complain, check these
- Look up your status (PM Kisan beneficiary status). Complaints that say "e-KYC pending" or "land not seeded" are answered with "complete it", so see whether that is your reason first.
- For a missing payment, run through installment not received.
- If the problem is the land line, land seeding explains what the nodal officer will ask; for the bank, Aadhaar bank seeding.
What to put in the complaint
- Your registration number and the mobile number on the entry.
- The exact problem in one sentence, for example "installment stopped, status shows land seeding pending, land papers attached".
- Details from Know Your Status: payment status, UTR number and credit date if any.
- A screenshot or printout of the status page, and the date you saw it.
- Copies of the land record, Aadhaar and bank passbook if you go to the office.
How many farmers complain, and what it means
PIB reports that 24,605 grievances were recorded on the PM-KISAN portal in FY 2024-25. Monitoring runs at national, state and district levels, with the national review chaired by the Cabinet Secretary. It is worth pursuing a genuine problem; most are about records that can be fixed.
Beware of fake helpline numbers and links
- Do not trust a number given in a video, a social media post or a message that offers to "fix" or "release" your installment. Verify numbers on pmkisan.gov.in.
- Never share your OTP, bank PIN or card details with anyone who calls, including someone who says they are from PM-KISAN. A genuine officer does not need them.
- Do not install APK files or enter details on links received on WhatsApp.
- No payment is needed to file a complaint on the portal.
