Keep every parchi and weighment slip safe, even the old ones. When my payment was stuck the society could only act because I had all my supply records in order. Farmers who lost their slips had a much harder time proving how much they had supplied.

In UP the online cane portal lets you check your supply and the payment status from the phone. I track mine there and raise it with the cane society when the amount is overdue. Going through the society and the cane department together put more pressure than complaining alone.
