In Madhya Pradesh the Farmer ID is made on mpfr.agristack.gov.in, either by the farmer on the "Farmer Registry MP" app or with a patwari, a trained local youth or a Common Service Centre. The ID is built from Aadhaar eKYC and the khasra (B-1) land record.
This page covers what is specific to Madhya Pradesh; the general explanation is in the national Farmer Registry guide. For 2026 the most time-sensitive use is MSP sale registration, which asks for the Agri Stack ID.
Portal and apps
- Portal: mpfr.agristack.gov.in. It offers four registration modes: Self, Operator, CSC and Sahayak.
- Farmer app: "Farmer Registry MP", for farmers.
- Helper app: "Farmer Sahayak MP", for the local youth who register farmers. The youth were paid ₹10 for each Farmer ID created and ₹5 for each extra account (Indore announcement, October 2024). That is a payment to the youth, not a charge on the farmer.
- Local name: Farmer ID, also called Kisan Pehchan Patra in Hindi reports.
Madhya Pradesh deadlines and scheme links
- 2024 drive: the first state campaign ran to 30 November 2024, and reports said PM-Kisan benefits from December 2024 would be available only through a Farmer ID. That date has passed.
- MSP sale registration, kharif 2026: registration ran from 15 September to 10 October 2026 for paddy, sorghum and millet. The Shahdol deputy collector said the farmer registry on the Agri Stack portal must be done first.
- PM-Kisan: see the PM-Kisan page for the instalment rule. No current Madhya Pradesh cut-off date is published.
Steps as the portal presents them
- Open the Farmer Registry MP app or mpfr.agristack.gov.in and choose the farmer login ("Log In as Farmer"). Registration begins with Aadhaar eKYC. An OTP goes to the Aadhaar-linked mobile.
- Check the details that come from Aadhaar. If verification fails, the portal asks the user to try again.
- Add the land by its khasra number and tap "Fetch Land Details". Land from only one village can be added in one request. More can be added later with Farmer Details Update.
- Select your plots and tap "Verify All Lands". If your name is not in the owners list, use the link the portal shows for that case.
- Give consent with "Farmer Consent - eSign" using an Aadhaar OTP. The portal then gives an Enrollment ID.
- Wait for approval. A farmer whose Aadhaar name differs from the land record can be sent to manual verification by a revenue officer.
Who can register you offline
| Route | Who helps | What is reported |
|---|---|---|
| Patwari | Village revenue official | The Indore announcement names the patwari as one of the registering agents, along with local youth and farmers themselves. |
| Local youth surveyor | Identified local youth using the Farmer Sahayak MP app | Paid by the state per ID, so the farmer should not be asked for money for this. |
| Common Service Centre | CSC operator | A prescribed fee is mentioned, but the amount is not published; ask before you pay. |
| Own phone | None | Through the Farmer Registry MP app or the portal. |
Documents
- Aadhaar card, with a mobile number linked to it, for eKYC and OTP.
- Khasra or B-1 copy of the land. See land records for how to get it.
- For MSP registration the ETV Bharat report adds the Agri Stack ID, Samagra ID and a bank account linked to Aadhaar. Those are for the MSP step, not for making the Farmer ID.
MSP registration in Madhya Pradesh
- Free routes named by the Shahdol deputy collector: gram panchayats, tehsils, facilitation centres, cooperative societies, marketing institutions, or the MP Kisan app.
- Paid routes named: MP Online, CSCs and cyber cafes.
- In Shahdol district 32 free centres were set up at cooperative society level across six blocks.
- Registration closed on 10 October 2026 for that round. Farmers with no Farmer ID need to finish the registry before they can register for MSP.
Status, download and corrections
- Status: "Check Approval Status" with "Search By Farmer Aadhaar Number", or search by Farmer Enrollment ID.
- Corrections: a rejected application can be edited and resubmitted, which generates a new Enrollment ID. After approval, "Farmer Details Update" can change details or add land.
- Download: "Download PDF" on the portal.
- Land record errors: go to the patwari or tehsil. The registry reads the land record; it does not rewrite it.
- Helpline: no Madhya Pradesh helpline number is published on the portal. A toll-free number quoted on some websites is not tied to the state, so none is given here.
