In Gujarat the Farmer ID is made on gjfr.agristack.gov.in, or on the "Farmer Registry Gujarat" app on Google Play. A farmer who does not want to do it alone can go to the village VCE, the Gram Panchayat office, the Gram Sevak or a Common Service Centre.

This page covers what is specific to Gujarat; the general explanation is in the national Farmer Registry guide. The Gujarat Farmer ID is tied to Aadhaar and the state's land records.

Portal and app

  • Portal: gjfr.agristack.gov.in (registration page: gjfr.agristack.gov.in/farmer-registry-gj/).
  • App: "Farmer Registry Gujarat", on the Google Play Store.
  • Self-registration: open on the portal and app. The portal offers Self, Operator, CSC and Sahayak modes.
  • Local help: Village Computer Entrepreneurs (VCEs), Gram Panchayat offices, Gram Sevaks and CSCs are named by the state government release reported on 23 September 2026.

Gujarat scheme links and dates

  • Schemes tied to the registry: PM-Kisan, the Price Support Scheme and MSP purchase, Kisan Credit Card and other credit and subsidy programmes. See PM-Kisan and Kisan Credit Card.
  • 4 February 2026: Minister Jitu Vaghani said 88 per cent of farmers' KYC, land records and registrations on the PM-Kisan portal were complete, and that 59 lakh beneficiaries were on the Farmer Registry portal. Gujarat ranked fourth in the country.
  • Deadline: no Gujarat Farmer ID deadline is published.
Need help getting your Farmer ID?

Steps as the portal presents them

  1. Open the app or gjfr.agristack.gov.in and choose the farmer login ("Log In as Farmer"). A new farmer verifies Aadhaar with an OTP and then verifies the mobile number with an OTP.
  2. Check the farmer details. They are shown in the local language.
  3. Choose "owner" in the land ownership field, tap "Fetch Land Details" and enter the survey number. The portal also has a field labelled "Block Number | Survey Number (e.g. 001|12)".
  4. Land from only one village can be added in one request. Check the land shown, then tap "Verify All Lands".
  5. Sign with "Farmer Consent - eSign" through Aadhaar. The portal gives an Enrollment ID.

Documents

  • Aadhaar card with a linked mobile number that is in the farmer's name.
  • A land document such as the 7/12 extract, with the survey number. See land records for how to get one.
  • A joint holder's plot may need every holder to be registered. That point comes from an unofficial site and is not confirmed on the portal; ask at the Gram Panchayat office.

Missed a survey number? Update Farmer Request

  • Gujarat has an Update Farmer Request (UFR) facility that lets a farmer add land survey numbers missed at the time of registration.
  • The portal says land from only one village can be added per request, and more can be added through "Farmer Details Update" after the first request is decided.
  • If your name is not in the owners list for a survey number, the portal shows a link for that case.

Status, download and corrections

  • Status: "Check Approval Status" with "Search By Farmer Aadhaar Number", or search by Farmer Enrollment ID.
  • Rejected or wrong: edit and resubmit. Resubmission generates a new Enrollment ID.
  • Land changes: add land later through "Farmer Details Update" or the UFR facility above.
  • Download: "Download PDF".
  • Helpline: no Gujarat Farmer Registry helpline number is published.
