In Rajasthan apply for tractor and machinery subsidy on the Raj Kisan Sathi single-window portal at rajkisan.rajasthan.gov.in. Register with your Jan Aadhaar or Aadhaar, log in, select the agriculture mechanization or krishi yantra scheme, fill details and upload documents, then submit. Under SMAM the assistance is around 40 percent for general and up to 50 percent for women, SC, ST and small or marginal farmers, with a state cap. You will need Jan Aadhaar, land records (jamabandi), bank passbook, caste certificate if applicable and the dealer quotation. After approval, buy from a registered dealer and get a physical verification done so the subsidy is released to your bank account.

Get your Jan Aadhaar details right, the portal pulls your family and category from it. If the bank account in Jan Aadhaar is old or closed, update it first, because the subsidy goes to the account linked there. Mine was credited within a few weeks after the field check.

You can do the whole thing at an e-Mitra kiosk if you are not comfortable online. The operator helps with the upload and gives you a receipt with the application number. Save that number, you need it to track the status and the lottery result.

Keep your jamabandi recent. An old or disputed land record is a common reason files get held at verification in Rajasthan. I got a fresh nakal from the patwari before applying and there was no objection.
