Good water is the foundation of ornamental fish farming. Keep tanks aerated, do regular partial water changes, avoid overfeeding since leftover feed fouls the water, and watch temperature and pH for the species you keep. A simple filter and aeration reduces ammonia buildup, and quarantining new fish before mixing them prevents disease spreading across your tanks. Test ammonia and pH if you can, especially when breeding density is high. Most beginner losses come from poor water and overcrowding rather than from feed. For disease problems, do not guess with random medicines, since wrong dosing kills fish. Consult your Fisheries officer or an experienced breeder for the right treatment.

Quarantine tanks saved my whole unit once. A single sick batch can spread to every tank if you mix them straight away. Never skip quarantine.
