If I do grow Reishi, where would I actually sell the dried product and what price is realistic without depending on a buyback company?

This is the right question to ask before growing, because the market is the hard part of Reishi. Dried Reishi is sold to specialised buyers such as herbal and Ayurvedic product makers, nutraceutical and supplement companies, and exporters, plus a small direct to consumer health market. There is no everyday mandi for it, so you must find and verify these buyers yourself. Prices can look high per kg of dried product, but realistic achievable prices depend heavily on quality, form, certification and whether you have a genuine buyer, and quoted figures are often inflated by sellers pushing kits. I would not give a fixed price because the spread is wide and the market is thin. The safe approach is to contact real buyers first, confirm what quality and quantity they want and what they will actually pay, and only then decide to grow. Cross check any price claim with your KVK and independent sources, not just the company selling you spawn.
I found that selling dried Reishi needs you to reach health and herbal companies directly, and they are choosy about quality. Not a simple sale at all.
