Dasheri vs Langra vs Chausa: which sequence should I plant for a longer selling season?

Dasheri Mango📍 Varanasi

I want to plant a mixed mango orchard in eastern UP so I have fruit to sell over a longer period instead of all at once. How should I combine Dasheri, Langra and Chausa by ripening time?

Staggering varieties by maturity is a smart way to spread labour, market risk and price. In the UP plains the rough sequence is Dasheri around late June into July (early to mid), Langra around July (mid), and Chausa from late July into August (late season). Planting all three means your harvest and selling window stretches over many weeks instead of a single glut, and the late Chausa often gets a better rate when other mangoes are finishing. Keep each variety in separate blocks for easier spraying and harvesting, since their flowering and disease timing differ slightly. Add a regular bearer and a good keeper like Chausa to balance the alternate-bearing tendency of the others. Confirm exact local ripening windows with your KVK as they shift a little by district and season.

I did exactly this. Chausa at the end fetches me more because Dasheri and Langra are over by then. Spreads the picking labour too.
