Want to understand demand, where to sell bael, and realistic income, especially for sharbat and processing.

Bael's market is driven by its use in sharbat, juice, squash, murabba and traditional and Ayurvedic medicine, along with seasonal demand for fresh fruit, including around festivals. Selling channels include local and urban fruit markets, processors and herbal or Ayurvedic product makers, and direct or aggregated sale of fruit for pulp. Because it stores better than many fruits and is used for processing, it has less spoilage pressure than soft fruits. It is still a relatively modest, niche market, so prices and demand vary by region and season. Income depends on yield, the price and whether you tap processing or value addition. Verify current local demand, prices and any processor or herbal-buyer links for your area with your KVK and local traders before scaling up.
Demand picks up in summer for sharbat and around festivals. The fruit keeps well compared to soft fruits, so I am not forced to dump it all at once.
