What extra costs come with buying a tractor besides the price?

The ex showroom price is only the start. On road price adds registration or RTO charges, insurance, and any handling or accessory charges, so the on road figure is higher than the ex showroom number you first see. Then there are running and ownership costs over the year: diesel, regular servicing and oils, tyres (rear tyres are expensive), repairs as the machine ages, and renewal of insurance. If you finance it, add the down payment, processing fee and the interest within your EMI. Implements are a separate cost, so a tractor alone cannot do every job. Ask the dealer for the full on road price in writing with every charge listed, and budget a yearly amount for fuel, service and repairs so the running cost does not surprise you.
