Traders and commission agents can register on eNAM to bid for produce online, but unlike farmers they usually need a trading licence. The two routes are: a Unified Single Licence that lets you trade across many mandis in a state, or a mandi-level licence in your local APMC. To register, go to enam.gov.in, choose trader or commission agent, fill the form, and upload documents such as identity proof, PAN, bank details, and your trading licence or licence application. After approval you can participate in online bidding and make payments to farmers digitally. Requirements and licence types vary by state, so confirm with your APMC or the state agricultural marketing board which licence applies to you.

Main ek vyapari hoon, maine Unified Single Licence liya jisse state ki kai mandiyon me trade kar sakta hoon. Registration ke liye PAN, bank details aur licence ke kagaz lage. Farmer registration free hai par trader ke liye licence zaroori hai.

Decide early whether you want the Unified Single Licence for the whole state or just a mandi-level licence in your local APMC, because the documents and process differ. I went for the state licence as I buy from several mandis. Check with your state agricultural marketing board which one suits your business.

A pitfall is uploading unclear or wrong documents, which delayed my approval. Keep clean scans of your identity proof, PAN, bank details and the trading licence or its application ready. Once approved, payments to farmers are made digitally, so make sure your bank details are correct.
