Yes, KCC is no longer only for crop farmers. The Kisan Credit Card has been extended to animal husbandry and fisheries, so dairy farmers, poultry keepers, goat and sheep rearers, and fish farmers can get a KCC for their working capital needs even without crop land. The limit is based on the scale of your activity, for example the number of animals or the pond area, using the costs fixed by your district technical committee. Apply at your bank branch with Aadhaar, address proof, photos, and proof of your activity such as animal ownership or a pond lease. The same interest subvention benefit for prompt repayment applies as for crop KCC.
