Rajasthan me maine Component B me solar pump liya. Central aur state ki subsidy milake bada hissa cover ho gaya, baaki apna hissa diya jismе se kuch loan se kiya. Pump ki capacity meri zameen aur paani ki zaroorat ke hisab se tay hui.

In my district the bigger problem was vendor empanelment, not the percentages. Only systems from empanelled vendors at the approved rate qualify for the subsidy. I picked a vendor from the official list on the nodal agency portal so my subsidy did not get stuck. Check the empanelled vendor list before you finalise anyone.

A pitfall to watch: the subsidy is on the approved vendor rate and fixed pump capacity, not on any higher price a vendor quotes. One vendor tried to sell me a bigger system than I was sanctioned for and asked extra cash. Stick to the capacity and rate fixed by the nodal agency and you will not overpay.

Special category and some hilly states get a higher central share, so do not assume the same split everywhere. Confirm the exact percentages and your eligible capacity on your state nodal agency or DISCOM portal before paying your share. The numbers are revised from time to time.
