Can I replace my DAP with nano DAP, and how do I use it?

Nano DAP is a liquid product mainly used as a seed treatment and as a foliar spray to supply some phosphorus and nitrogen. It is best seen as a supplement, not an automatic full replacement for your basal phosphorus at sowing, especially on soils that test low in phosphorus. Typical use is to treat the seed with it before sowing as directed on the label, and to give a foliar spray at the early growth stages. As with any foliar product, mix at the exact rate on that bottle's label, spray with a fine nozzle for good leaf coverage, apply in the cool hours, and avoid spraying just before rain. Whether it can reduce your bagged DAP need depends on your soil's phosphorus status from your soil test and on your crop. Do not drop your soil-applied phosphorus entirely on the word of a shopkeeper if your Soil Health Card shows phosphorus is low. Follow the product label and your KVK advice, match the plan to your Soil Health Card or soil test, and do not over-apply.
