pmfby claim rejected, fasal bima paisa nahi aaya, claim reject reason, appeal grievance

Crop insurance claims are most often rejected for these reasons: loss was not reported within 72 hours, the crop or area was not notified, the actual crop in the field did not match the insured crop, premium was not debited in time, or the loss type was not covered under your policy. Also, for area-based yield losses no individual claim is paid unless the season's average yield in your notified unit falls below the threshold. First find the reason from your insurance company, bank, or pmfby.gov.in. If you disagree, file a grievance on the PMFBY portal or call the toll-free helpline 14447; unresolved cases can be escalated to the District Level Monitoring Committee and the state grievance committee. Keep your policy receipt, loss intimation proof and field photos to support your appeal.
Mera claim isliye atka tha kyunki insured fasal aur khet ki fasal alag thi record me. Bank ja ke theek karwaya aur 14447 pe shikayat darj ki, fir survey hua. Policy ki rasid sambhal ke rakho.
I learned that for an area-based loss, your individual field can look fine but no claim comes if the whole unit's average yield did not drop below the threshold. The reverse is also true. So understand which type of cover your crop has before expecting a claim.
When the company did not respond, I escalated in writing to the District Level Monitoring Committee through the agriculture office, and that got my case reviewed. Keep copies of every intimation and the dates; the paper trail is what made them act.
Damage hone ke turant baad date wali photo aur 72 ghante ke andar ki gayi report ka acknowledgement sambhal lo. Jab mera claim pehle reject hua, yahi proof dikha ke maine dobara review karwaya.
Confirm with your bank that the premium was actually debited and the policy was generated. A friend assumed he was insured, but the premium never got cut due to a low balance, so there was no policy to claim against. Always get the policy receipt as proof.
