To sell at the Minimum Support Price (MSP), you must first register on your state's procurement portal before the season opens, as government agencies buy only from registered farmers. Registration usually needs your Aadhaar, bank account (for direct payment), land records, and crop and acreage details; in many states this is done on the e-procurement or DBT portal, or through the Central Foodgrains Procurement Portal. After registering, you get a token or date to bring your produce to the nearest procurement centre or notified APMC mandi. Your grain is checked against quality (Fair Average Quality) norms, weighed, and bought at the notified MSP, with payment credited directly to your bank account, often within 48 to 72 hours. Punjab me main e-procurement portal pe register karta hoon, fir mandi se token aata hai. Dhaan ki nami theek honi chahiye warna reject ho jaata hai. Paisa seedha account me aa jaata hai.

Quality norms ko halke me mat lo. Mera gehu thoda gila tha aur center pe reject ho gaya. Bechne se pehle achhe se sukha lo aur safai kar lo, FAQ standard pass karna zaroori hai.

Carry the original land record and your registration slip to the centre, not just photocopies. The staff at my centre would not accept the lot until the names on the record, registration and bank account all matched. Sorting that out beforehand saved a wasted trip.

Registration ki window season shuru hone se pehle hi khulti hai aur jaldi band ho jaati hai. Maine ek saal der kar di to panjiyan hi nahi ho paya aur mandi me bechna pada. Date ka pehle se pata kar lo apni cooperative society se.

Different crops are procured by different agencies and on different portals. Wheat and paddy go on the food procurement portal, but pulses and oilseeds in my state were bought under a separate price support scheme on another portal. Ask the mandi which portal applies to your crop.

Token pe di gayi tareekh aur centre dhyan se dekho. Mera token kisi door ke centre ka aa gaya tha. Agar galat lage to society se theek karwa lo, warna sahi din sahi jagah na pahunchne par lot reject ho sakta hai.

Payment usually lands in the account linked at registration, so confirm that account is active and Aadhaar-seeded before you sell. A relative's payment got stuck because the account he registered with had gone dormant. Update it at the registration stage, not after.
