Is there a market for Calendula (Pot Marigold) flowers and who buys them?

Calendula, or pot marigold, is different from ordinary genda and is grown for its petals and flowers used in herbal, cosmetic, skincare and pharma products. There is genuine but specialised demand, often from herbal and cosmetic companies and some export channels, rather than an open mandi. So it is buyer driven, and you must find an actual buyer, a herbal or cosmetic firm, an exporter or a known trader, before scaling up. Prices vary by form, dried petals versus whole flower, and by quality. It is a cool season flower crop with repeated pickings, and like chamomile it needs hand picking labour. Before planting, confirm a real buyer and a written price, and verify they are buying. Do not confuse it with festival genda demand, the markets are quite different.
