What pests and problems affect cherry tomato?

Cherry tomato faces the same problems as regular tomato: leaf curl virus spread by whitefly, fruit borer, the leaf miner Tuta absoluta, early and late blight, and bacterial wilt in some soils. Fruit cracking after irregular water or rain is a major quality loss specific to ripe small fruit. Manage by using clean seedlings, controlling whitefly and Tuta early with traps and rotated recommended products following the pre harvest interval, staking and pruning for airflow, and keeping irrigation steady to stop cracking.
