I have never applied online before. Is there a common set of steps that works for most agriculture subsidies, so I know what to expect?

Most state agriculture subsidy portals follow the same broad flow, so once you learn it for one scheme the rest feel familiar. Step one is registration: you create a farmer profile with your Aadhaar, mobile number and bank details, and the portal often pulls your land records automatically. Step two is choosing the scheme and component, for example drip under Per Drop More Crop or a rotavator under SMAM. Step three is uploading documents: land record, Aadhaar, bank passbook, photo and a caste certificate if you are claiming a higher slab. Step four is submission, after which you get an application or token number, keep this safe. Step five is selection, which is either first come first served or a lottery depending on the scheme and the funds available. Step six is pre approval or work order, which permits you to buy or build. Step seven is physical verification and bill upload, and step eight is the subsidy paid to your bank by DBT. The portal name differs by state, Mahadbt in Maharashtra, Raj Kisan Sathi in Rajasthan, and so on, so confirm your state portal and current steps before starting.
Sabse zaroori baat, application number note kar lo screenshot le lo. Mera ek baar number kho gaya tha to status check karna mushkil ho gaya tha.
Pehli baar maine CSC center se apply karwaya tha 30 40 rupaye dekar. Agar khud na aaye to center se karwana theek rehta hai, par documents apne paas rakho.
Registration ke time mobile number wahi do jo Aadhaar se juda ho, warna OTP aur DBT dono me dikkat aati hai.
