My KCC is an old passbook style account with no card. How do I upgrade it to the RuPay ATM card version?

Upgrading an old passbook KCC to the RuPay card version is usually simple. Go to your branch and ask them to issue a KCC RuPay debit card linked to your existing KCC account; in most cases they update your KYC, capture your details and issue the card without you needing a fresh application. You may need to give updated Aadhaar and a recent photo. Once issued, set your PIN at an ATM or through the bank app, and the card lets you draw at ATMs, swipe at dealers and often use UPI. The advantage is convenience and that you pay interest only on what you draw, day by day. If the branch says the account must be renewed first, do that at the same visit. Card availability and the upgrade process differ slightly by bank, so ask your branch to issue the RuPay KCC card and enable it.
Mera bhi purana passbook wala tha. Branch ne KYC update karke RuPay card de diya, alag se naya form nahi bharna pada. ATM par PIN set kiya aur ab card se kaam chal jata hai.
