How is the KCC limit calculated per acre using scale of finance?

Neighbour with same land got a higher KCC limit than me. I want to understand the per acre maths so I can check if mine is correct.

The per acre figure that drives your KCC limit is called the Scale of Finance. Each year your District Level Technical Committee fixes a cost per acre for every major crop, so paddy, wheat, cotton and vegetables each get a different rate. The bank takes that rate, multiplies it by the area you grow under each crop, then adds roughly 10 percent for post-harvest and household expenses and about 20 percent for upkeep of farm assets, and that sum becomes your limit. So two farmers with the same total acreage can get different limits if they grow different crops or different numbers of crops in a year, because a higher value crop or a second season both raise the scale-based amount. If your neighbour grows a costlier crop or two crops a year while you grow one, his limit will be higher even on equal land. Ask your branch or block agriculture office for this year's Scale of Finance sheet and check the crop and area they recorded for you. The rates and percentages change yearly.

Padosi ki limit zyada thi kyunki uske record me do fasal likhi thi aur meri ek. Maine apni rabi aur kharif dono fasal likhwayi to limit barabar ho gayi. Apna sahi cropping pattern zaroor darj karwao.

I asked the agriculture office for the scale of finance paper and matched it against my limit. The bank had used last year's lower rate. Once I showed the current sheet they revised it upward. Worth checking every year at renewal.
