My name is spelt wrong in the land record. Aadhaar and other papers have the correct spelling but the khatauni has a mistake. How do I get it corrected?

I got my father's name corrected the same way. Took the registry paper and Aadhaar to the tehsil, gave an application, and the lekhpal corrected it after verification. No big fee.
Keep proof that the wrong name and the right name are the same person, otherwise they sometimes ask for an affidavit. I had to give one.
