Current status
Official 2025-26 guidelines say applications are invited on SARAL for a fixed period; no 2026-27 window found on an official page. A vendor blog claims an 8-21 April 2026 window but it is dated July 2025 and is not reliable, so it is not recorded.

Eligibility
- Applicant has Parivar Pehchan Patra and agricultural land in own name
- One pump per family; family not already covered under a solar pump scheme
- No electric agricultural connection in applicant's name (existing electric tubewell consumers up to 10 HP get priority if they surrender the connection)
- New solar pumps not allowed in villages where groundwater is below 100 feet per HWRA list (diesel-pump conversion with micro-irrigation allowed)
- Paddy growers ineligible where groundwater availability is below 40 metres
- Applicant must provide a suitable borewell and shadow-free south-facing land
- Allocation priority: electric tubewell applicants (2019-2023), then MICADA applicants, then others by family income and land holding

Good to know
Subsidy 3-7.5 HP: user 25%, MNRE 30%, state 45%. For 10 HP, MNRE subsidy is limited to that of 7.5 HP and the state covers the balance, user share stays 25% (without USPC; with USPC the farmer pays more). Tender-discovered Haryana prices incl. GST in the 2025-26 guidelines: 3 HP DC surface Rs 2,15,703 (farmer Rs 53,926); 7.5 HP DC submersible Rs 4,54,516 (farmer Rs 1,13,629; MNRE share Rs 1,19,342); 10 HP AC submersible Rs 5,63,037 (farmer Rs 1,40,759); 10 HP DC submersible Rs 5,68,681 (farmer Rs 1,42,170). These are tender rates, not MNRE benchmark costs. Rates were set via SECI central tender of 25.07.2023 for 2 years. 5-year AMC and insurance included. Refund after work order forfeits 5%.
