eNAM is an online trading platform linking APMC mandis so buyers across India can bid for your produce. To use it, register as a farmer on the eNAM portal or app with your details, mobile and bank account, and select your nearest integrated mandi. To sell, bring produce to that eNAM linked mandi and record a gate entry; the lot is weighed and quality assayed against set parameters, then listed online with the quality report. Registered buyers from across the country place bids in a transparent electronic auction, and the highest bid usually wins. Payment is made electronically to your bank account, typically within a few days. Wider competition often gives better prices than only local traders bidding.

I registered at my mandi and sold through eNAM. Buyers from outside the district bid and I got a better rate than the usual local traders. Payment came to my bank account.

The quality assaying step matters. A good quality report got my lot higher online bids. So clean and grade your produce before bringing it to the mandi for eNAM sale.

Keep your bank account and mobile number linked correctly when you register, that is where the payment lands. A friend had an old number on file and chasing the correction delayed everything. Get the registration details right the first time.
