Anthurium for cut flower is best started from tissue culture plants from a reputed lab, because they are uniform and disease free, and seed or sucker material is slow and variable. Tissue culture plants are not cheap per plant, so factor that into your budget. From planting, anthurium typically takes a fairly long establishment period, often the better part of a year or more, before it reaches steady cuttable flowering, so plan working capital for that gap. Choose colours and varieties your market actually wants. Get a written quote and confirm the variety performance and current establishment time for your conditions with the supplier and your KVK before ordering a large lot.

Tissue culture is the way, I tried suckers first and it was too slow and uneven. Yes the plants cost more but the crop is far better.
