Can I mix micronutrient spray with my pesticide or fertiliser spray in one tank?

Sometimes tank mixing is fine and saves a trip, but sometimes the products react, lose effect, or damage the crop, so you cannot assume it is safe. The reliable check is a jar test: take a little water, add small measured amounts of each product in the right order, stir, and watch for clumping, curdling, separation, sludge or heat over a few minutes. If it looks clean and stable, the mix is likely compatible; if it goes cloudy, lumpy or separates, spray them separately. Read both labels first, because some labels specifically say what not to mix. Mix in the correct order, keep the spray solution at the right strength, and use it fresh rather than storing a mixture. Some micronutrients and certain pesticides are known to be incompatible, so when in doubt, spray separately, especially for valuable crops. Follow the product labels and your KVK advice, and keep nutrient rates within your soil test recommendation without over-applying.
