Honest answer first, do not lock a number from a forum because PKVY assistance is revised periodically and varies by state top up. As a general range the total PKVY assistance has historically been in the order of a few tens of thousands of rupees per hectare spread over the three year cluster period, and it is not handed to you as cash. It is split across heads like cluster formation and training, organic inputs and on farm input production, PGS certification, and value addition or marketing. Only a part reaches you as direct benefit for inputs, the rest pays for shared services like certification and capacity building. To budget correctly, get the current year cost norms sheet from your district agriculture office or the official PKVY portal, because the per hectare figure, the split across heads, and the number of years have all changed across versions of the scheme. Treat any single rupee figure online as outdated until your agriculture department confirms it.

Exactly this. I expected cash in hand and was disappointed. Most of it went to training, inputs in kind and the certification of the whole group. The direct part to me was modest. Get the head wise breakup in your sanction letter, that is the only number that matters for your field.
