How do I manage citrus greening and dieback in my orange (santra) trees?

Blotchy yellow leaves with green islands, twig dieback and small lopsided fruit are classic signs of citrus greening (HLB), which is spread by the citrus psyllid and cannot be cured once a tree is badly infected. Management is preventive: start with certified disease free saplings, control the psyllid that spreads it, remove and destroy severely infected trees so they do not infect healthy ones, and keep trees vigorous with balanced nutrition and micronutrients to delay decline. General citrus dieback also worsens with waterlogging, nutrient deficiency and root problems, so fix drainage and follow your Soil Health Card. Get a proper diagnosis from your KVK or the citrus research station, since greening, nutrient deficiency and other diseases can look similar.
