A high-density mango orchard relies on drip and fertigation to feed many closely spaced trees precisely and keep them compact and productive. Splitting the fertiliser into many small doses through the drip gave us much better growth than the old practice of dumping it in the basin a few times. The trees got a steady supply and we wasted far less.
