Thrips rasp capsicum leaves and fruit causing silvery streaks and scarring, and importantly they transmit tospoviruses like spotted wilt that cause bronzing, ring spots and dieback with no cure. The main defence in a net house is keeping thrips out with a fine insect net, removing virus infected plants early, and monitoring with blue sticky traps. Conserve natural enemies and use recommended biopesticides at low populations, and keep weeds down since they host thrips and virus. If spraying, rotate modes of action carefully because thrips develop resistance quickly, and follow the label and pre harvest interval. Confirm net mesh size, trap colour and approved products with your KVK.

A caution: thrips build resistance fast, so I rotate modes of action carefully and never repeat a group. Keeping the net intact and weeds down outside matters as much as any spray.

I check the net mesh size carefully because a coarse net let thrips straight through and the virus still got in. A fine enough insect net was the single biggest help, the KVK guided me on the right mesh.

Keeping the weeds down outside the net house cut my thrips a lot, since they shelter and breed there and carry the virus in. Where I let the surrounds get weedy the bronzing showed up sooner.
