Diamondback moth often stops responding to sprays because of resistance from repeated use of the same chemicals, so the answer is a proper rotation and IPM programme, not a stronger single spray. Use pheromone traps to monitor and time action, conserve natural enemies, and rely on biopesticides like recommended Bt and neem based products at the small larva stage. Strictly rotate insecticide modes of action and never use the same group twice in a row, and avoid synthetic pyrethroids alone which flare DBM. Mustard or other trap crops planted around the field can pull moths away from the cabbage. Confirm the rotation plan and approved products with your KVK, since resistance patterns are local.

In Kolar my DBM stopped responding because I kept spraying the same thing. Once I rotated modes of action properly and used Bt early at the small larva stage it came under control.

Once I started rotating sprays properly and using Bt early, my DBM came under control. Before that I was just spraying the same thing again and again with no effect.

A tip that helped: I plant a mustard border as a trap crop and it pulls a lot of the moths off my cabbage. Pheromone traps tell me when to act so I do not spray blindly.
