For scab, sanitation and the same orchard hygiene and protective sprays used for anthracnose at flowering and early fruit help, with KVK-recommended fungicides. For thrips, monitor the young fruit and flush and use KVK-recommended measures only when numbers cross the local threshold, conserving natural enemies. General steps that reduce all three are an open, well-pruned canopy, windbreaks to cut wind rub and dust, and good nutrition. For any spray follow the label, the pre-harvest interval, residue and MRL limits, and rotate modes of action. Get the cause identified first, since spraying fungicide for a thrips problem, or the reverse, will not help.
