How do I control wilt and pod borer in arhar (tur)?

Two separate problems here. Patchwise drying of whole plants, often with a browning of the inner stem when split, points to fusarium wilt, which builds up when tur is grown in the same field year after year. Manage it with wilt resistant varieties, crop rotation, and seed treatment with a bio agent like Trichoderma. The holes in pods are from pod borer (Helicoverpa). Scout at flowering and early podding, use pheromone traps to track moth activity and bird perches in the field, and spray only when the pest crosses the threshold, following the label dose and pre harvest interval. Rotating recommended molecules avoids resistance. Take samples to your KVK to confirm wilt versus other root problems before deciding.
