My alsi crop sometimes wilts and I see budfly damage. How do I protect linseed?

The common linseed problems are wilt and rust diseases, and the linseed bud fly which attacks flower buds and cuts seed set, plus some other pests. The best first line is to grow a wilt and rust tolerant recommended variety, treat seed before sowing, sow on time, and follow good rotation, since resistant varieties and clean culture prevent most disease loss. For bud fly and other insect pests, monitor at flowering and use only an insecticide that is labelled and recommended for linseed at the correct stage and dose, respecting the pre harvest interval, because alsi seed is consumed. Confirm the currently approved products and the variety with your KVK rather than spraying on guess, as recommendations change and wrong chemicals waste money and risk residue.
Choosing a wilt tolerant variety and treating seed cut my wilt losses a lot. Bud fly at flowering is the one to watch for seed set.
