Baby spinach mainly faces leaf miner, which tunnels in the leaf and ruins salad quality, plus aphids and downy mildew in cool wet conditions. Because it is eaten raw and harvested young, control should be soft: insect netting, removing mined or infected leaves, neem-based options and only labelled products with safe pre harvest intervals. Good airflow and not over-wetting the foliage help against downy mildew. Bolting in heat is the main non-pest loss, handled by cool-season timing and quick harvest. Confirm any specific control with your KVK for your area.

Leaf miner is my worst problem because the tunnels make the leaf unsellable for salad. Netting the beds and pulling affected leaves keeps it under control without heavy spray.
