On the market side, longan is still uncommon in India, so it can fetch a good price as a slightly exotic fruit, sold through fruit markets, premium shops, and increasingly online, and it transports and stores a little better than litchi which helps. However flowering can be irregular some years, the market is thin compared with mainstream fruits, and prices vary a lot, so treat income as a range to confirm with actual buyers, not a fixed figure.
