Want to understand when dragon fruit starts fruiting and the realistic yield and income range before I invest.

Dragon fruit usually starts flowering from the second year after planting, with a small first crop, and moves toward fuller bearing by year 3 to 4. It can keep producing for 15 to 20 years if the poles and plants are maintained. Yield builds up gradually, early years give little, and a well managed mature orchard gives a much higher figure, but the range is wide and depends on variety, spacing, water and pollination, so treat any single number with caution. Income depends heavily on the rate you get, which swings with season and how you sell (local mandi versus direct or premium retail). Do not plan your loan repayment on best-case yield and price together. Get realistic yield and current price ranges for Solapur from your KVK and from farmers already harvesting nearby.
My third-year crop was decent but year one and two were almost nothing, just plant growth. Plan your cash flow for at least 3 years of mostly expenses.
Plan three years of mostly costs. My poles and structure ate the budget in year one and income only came later.
Do not believe the lakhs-per-acre videos. Build a realistic budget and check local prices yourself.
