Canara Bank finances tractors under its Farm Machinery Loans scheme, which covers new and second-hand tractors, power tillers, trailers, combine harvesters and other farm implements. Repayment runs for 5 to 9 years in half-yearly or yearly instalments. The bank publishes the rate as a spread over its one year MCLR, not as a single figure.

A separate scheme, Canara Vehicle to Agriculturists, finances four-wheelers for agriculturists. Its page does not name tractors, so it is described separately below.

Interest rate

The bank's agriculture rate sheet, updated on 18.08.2026, has no separate line for tractors above 30 HP. It lists the scheme for small tractors (up to 30 HP) and the general agriculture term loan rates. The current MCLR value is not given in that document, so the final rate is not stated here.

Sanctioned limitRate
Small tractors (up to 30 HP), up to ₹3 lakhOne year MCLR plus 1.55%, plus liquidity premium
Small tractors (up to 30 HP), above ₹3 lakhOne year MCLR plus 2.05%, plus liquidity premium
Agriculture term loans, above ₹3 lakh up to ₹1 croreSpread of 2.30% over MCLR, plus liquidity premium

For loans repayable beyond one year, a liquidity premium is added: 0.25% for more than 3 up to 5 years, 0.30% for more than 5 up to 7 years and more than 7 up to 10 years.
