The Minimum Support Price for Ragi (रागी) for marketing season 2026-27 is ₹5,205 per quintal, an increase of ₹319 (about 6.5%) over last year's ₹4,886. Ragi is a Kharif crop, and its MSP was announced by the Cabinet in May 2026 on the recommendation of the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP).
MSP protects you from a price crash: if the mandi rate falls below ₹5,205, government agencies buy Ragi at MSP through notified procurement centres.
