I have a moist plot near a channel. Is it right for Brahmi and what care does the crop need?

Brahmi naturally grows in wet, marshy spots and along water edges, so a moist plot near a channel is well suited. It likes consistently damp soil and even shallow standing water for part of the time, plenty of moisture and organic matter, and it spreads quickly by runners to form a green mat. Keep it weeded in the early stage so other plants do not smother or contaminate the crop, and avoid letting the soil dry out. It does not need heavy chemical inputs, which suits buyers wanting clean herbal raw material. Because it thrives on land that is too wet for many crops, it can be a good use of low lying ground, provided you have confirmed a buyer first.

My low land used to be useless in the rains, now Brahmi loves it. Just keep the weeds out early.
