I want to do my own eNAM registration from home instead of asking an agent. What exactly do I need to keep ready and how long does approval take?
You can self register on the eNAM portal or app. Keep ready your mobile number, a bank account number with IFSC for payment, and an ID and address proof such as Aadhaar. You create a login, fill your details and choose your APMC mandi, then upload bank and ID details. After you submit, your nearest registered eNAM mandi approves your farmer profile. Once approved you get a unique eNAM ID. Registration itself is free of charge. Approval can take from a day to a few days depending on how quickly your mandi acts, so if it is pending you can visit the mandi help desk and ask them to approve it. Confirm the current document list on the eNAM portal as requirements can be updated.
