About the Safflower MSP
The Minimum Support Price for Safflower (कुसुम) for marketing season 2026-27 is ₹6,540 per quintal, an increase of ₹600 (about 10.1%) over last year's ₹5,940. Safflower is a Rabi crop, and its MSP was announced by the Cabinet in October 2025 on the recommendation of the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP).
