To sell on eNAM you first register as a farmer, which is free. Go to enam.gov.in, choose farmer registration, enter your details and bank account, and upload the required documents, or get it done at the eNAM counter in your linked APMC mandi which also helps with the first transaction. You receive a login to track your lots and payments. When you bring produce, it is recorded at the mandi, a sample is lab-tested for quality, and the lot is listed for online bidding so traders across mandis can bid. Choose the best bid, and after weighment the payment comes to your bank account. Keep your Aadhaar and bank passbook handy for registration.

Maine APMC ke eNAM counter pe registration karwaya, koi fees nahi lagi. Bidding me thoda accha rate mila state ke dusre traders se.

Registration is free but make sure the bank account you give is correct and active, because the payment after the sale comes straight to it. I double checked my account and IFSC at the counter. Anyone telling you there is a fee to register as a farmer is not telling the truth.

One useful thing I learned: your produce gets a quality lab test at the mandi, and a better grade fetches better bids. So clean and sort your lot before bringing it. The first time my lot was mixed and the rate was lower; next time I graded it and got more in the online bidding.
