mahila kisan pm kisan kcc, woman landowner scheme eligibility, widow land in own name

A woman who holds agricultural land in her own name is treated as a landholding farmer in her own right and can apply for both PM-Kisan and KCC. For PM-Kisan she registers at pmkisan.gov.in or a CSC with her Aadhaar, bank passbook and the land record in her name, then completes eKYC. For KCC she applies at her bank branch with the same land record, Aadhaar and photos. Note that within one family only one PM-Kisan benefit is paid, so a married woman gets it on her own only if she is a separate landholding family, such as a widow or single woman with land titled to her. Many states also have extra benefits and priority for women farmers; ask your agriculture office.
Meri zameen mere naam par hai isliye mujhe alag se PM-Kisan milta hai. KCC bhi mere naam par bana, bank ne land record dekha.
I am a widow with land mutated to my name after my husband passed. The agriculture office told me to first complete the mutation so the record clearly showed my name, then register on PM-Kisan. Once the land record was in my name, both PM-Kisan and KCC went through without trouble.
As a single woman farmer I found the mutation step was the key. Until the land was clearly recorded in my own name, both PM-Kisan land seeding and the KCC were getting stuck. Once mutation was done at the revenue office, both went through. So sort the land record in your name first, then apply.
One thing to confirm at your agriculture office: many states have extra benefits or priority for women farmers in machinery and irrigation subsidies. I found I qualified for a higher subsidy rate as a woman farmer that I did not know about. Worth asking when you go for the land seeding or eKYC.
