Does dashparni ark really work as an organic pesticide?

Dashparni ark is a fermented brew made from about ten kinds of pungent and bitter leaves like neem, custard apple, papaya, castor and others, along with green chilli, garlic, cow dung and cow urine, left to ferment for a few weeks and then diluted before spraying. Honestly, what it does is mostly repel and lightly deter a range of insects rather than kill them outright. It can help keep pest pressure down as part of a regular preventive routine on a natural farm, especially against soft sucking pests and egg laying moths, and many natural farmers report it reduces light attacks. But you should not expect it to stop a heavy borer or hopper outbreak on its own, the research evidence is mixed and the strength varies a lot batch to batch. Related preparations like neemastra for early sucking pests, agniastra for borers and leaf eaters, and brahmastra are used the same way. Treat all of them as low cost preventive repellents to combine with traps, sanitation and bio control agents, not as a guaranteed cure. Filter well before spraying and apply in the evening.
